Corning Glass (a manufacturer of the glass block) recommends not to attempt cutting into the glass (I am assuming drilling also) as the glass blocks have some vacuum in them and may implode. There is a posting below "cutting hollow glass block" that talks about blade material for saws - but whatever you decide to do - BE CAREFUL! Has anyone ever done this before?
