: What lubricant should i use to dip my cutter in before i score the glass?

Hi Maralynn,

You can buy glass cutter lubricant. Any brand is fine. However, you can easily make your own. That's what I do. I use a 50/50 mix of kerosene and machine oil (like 3-in-1), both of which you can buy at any harware store. It's less exspenive; A 4 oz. bottle of cutter lubricant will cost about $4. For about the same price, you can max a quart.

Jimi.
